| More Than Just Sustainability |

For this collection, I explored new possibilities by utilising sustainable materials as my artistic language in crafting contemporary jewellery. In contrast, my earlier works were crafted from acrylic paint and PVC sheet. Recognising the environmental impact of these materials, I committed myself to discovering alternative, eco-friendly options through material experimentation, a central focus in my current practice.
I began seeking sustainable materials in everyday life. Paper captured my attention due to its sustainability, cost-effectiveness, widespread availability, and safe handling characteristics. Notably, paper waste from activities like grocery shopping, such as paper wrapping and box packaging, stood out to me. Consequently, my material experiments involve recycling paper.
Each piece in this collection represents a fusion of creativity and conscious material choices. I aim to emphasise sustainability as an integral aspect of my artistic expression. Through this exploration, I invite the viewer to appreciate the beauty that emerges when artistry and environmental consciousness converge.
